Windows 10 Still Hasn’t Caught Up To Windows 7

Microsoft has been aggressively marketing Windows 10 since it was released last July. From free upgrades, to TV ads, to annoying popup windows, Microsoft has been trying hard to get their users to adopt the latest and greatest operating system. Earlier this year, Microsoft claimed the OS had 270,000,000 active users, but recent metrics show it still trails 2009’s Windows 7. The latest statistics show Windows 10 global adoption surpasses Windows 8 and 8.1 (combined) in February. The OS continues to widen the gap, but still trails Windows 7 by a long ways.
