Geek Of The Week: Suit & Tie Guy

Geek Of The Week: Suit & Tie Guy

In honor of Knobcon V, which just concluded yesterday in Chicago, Suit & Tie Guy is this week’s GOTW. Suit and Tie Guy, or STG for short, is the performance moniker for Eric Williamson. He is an avid supporter of electronic music and a well known figure in the subculture. STG is an amazing keyboardist who performs regularly (always wearing a suit and tie) using a very large collection of synthesizers. In fact, he performed at Knobcon on Friday night. Williamson is actually one of the founding members of the conference. Additionally, he is the chief engineer for STG Soundlabs, a company that manufactures modular synthesizers. So, STG not only performs with synthesizers, he actually builds them too. Needless to say, this music geek is worthy of our 356th GOTW nomination. Go Suit and Tie Guy!
