HTC To Reveal New Vive Hardware At CES 2017?

As the end of the year draws nigh, geeks start thinking about the coming year and the next Consumer Electronic Show (CES). The expo takes place every January and represents the tech trends for the coming year. CES rumors are already heating up as analysts expect HTC to release a second version of their Vive VR headset at this year’s show.

Dubbed the Vive 2, analysts feel this new model will not be merely a software update, but entirely new hardware.  The updated device may include wireless technology and higher resolution. The previous Vive headset, released earlier this year, has sold 140,000 units to date. It will be interesting to see how many other companies release VR headsets at CES 2017.
