Amazon Sells 4748 Echo Units To Wynn Hotel

As Microsoft is attempting to push Cortana into every home, Amazon just sold 4748 more Echo units. The Wynn hotel and casino in Las Vegas recently revealed plans to put an Echo in every hotel room. Alexa, Amazon’s voice response framework, will allow guests to control the room temperature, turn on/off lights, and change TV channels without ever picking up a remote. The hotel’s current goal is to have all rooms Echo-equipped by this coming Summer. The age of the robotic attendant is drawing neigh.
