Chromebook Pro Moves Into Surface Territory

Since Chromebooks arrived in back in 2011, they’ve been popular in the education market. Home users have adopted the devices slowly, but in the last year or so demand has increased. In fact, they’re even outselling Macbooks. Now Samsung aims to tip that in Google’s favor with the Chromebook Pro. This $549 device is a convertible laptop/tablet with 12.3″ screen. This not only setup them up to be cheaper than the average full-featured laptop, but also competitive with the Microsoft Surface range of tablets.
