Verizon Has Plans To Merge AOL & Yahoo!

Internet provider Verizon recently announced the acquisition of Yahoo! for $4.8 Billion. The company has plans to merge Yahoo! and AOL (which it acquired in 2015) into a single entity known as Oath. Details are still forthcoming, but it appears Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer (a former GOTW) will step down from the board. Mayer took the job as Yahoo! chief in 2012. She will not be taking the Verizon Oath. Oh jeez, this name will yield years of cheap jokes. icon wink Verizon Has Plans To Merge AOL & Yahoo!
