Windows Vista Is Dead… Who Noticed?

After an epic wait, Microsoft released Windows Vista in January of 2007. It was the company’s first major OS revamp since Windows XP. Alas, it did not catch on and just floundered for the last decade picking up little if any speed. Microsoft declared the end of support date to be 4/11/17, which was yesterday. So, at this point, Vista support has officially ended and nobody has seemed to notice. Compare that to the uproar that occurred when Microsoft put 2001’s Windows XP to bed in 2014. Vista died a much quieter death.
