Microsoft Surface Pro: Laptop Or Tablet?

Microsoft unveiled the latest addition to the Surface line yesterday. The new Surface Pro is part laptop and part tablet. It is designed to fulfill both roles and runs Windows 10 Professional.

Microsoft also unveiled a stylus, the Surface Pen, which sells for $99. Ironically, to use the device as a laptop, the user must also buy the keyboard/cover which runs $129 extra. Evidently, Microsoft is advertising the unit as a laptop but selling it as a tablet which is kind of furstrating. Why not just include the cover and charge $125 more? In any case, the device are currently available for pre-order with prices ranging from $799 – $2699 depending on the configuration.
