Europe Ends Mobile Roaming Charges

The European Union (EU) recently passed legislation that will prevent mobile carriers from charging roaming fees across Europe. This means citizens can travel from country to country and text, talk, or browse without any roaming fees. Alas, it does not apply to US-based carriers, or any outside the EU, so Americans can still incur massive charges during that European Vacation.
