Nissan Leaf Gets Semi-Autonomous Capabilities

Way back in 2012, automobile maker Nissan was adding driver assistance systems to their cars. While not truly robotic cars, these enhancements have focused on driver safety through technology. Now the company is preparing to release the next generation Nissan Leaf which is not only an electric vehicle, but also a semi-autonomous vehicle. The company’s ProPILOT technology will eventually be fully autonomous, but this puts them in the same category as Tesla.
