The iPhone Turns 10 Today!

The date was June 29, 2007. Apple CEO Steve Jobs took the stage at San Francisco’s Moscone Center to deliver the WWDC keynote. He presented a new device the world had never seen and he called it… iPhone. At the time, many analysts thought it would surely flop. A mere 10 years later, this device has become commonplace. In fact, it started the smartphone revolution.

The iPhone has become a staple of people’s lives and its changed the way we process information. It’s actually difficult to remember what computing was like before smartphones. It’s amazing how much we’ve gotten used to this technology in less than a decade. Now we can say we’re moving into the second decade of smartphones… and we always wonder what’s coming.
