Fitbit Unveils First “Real” Smartwatch

Fitbit just released their Ionic smartwatch. This is the company’s first smartwatch as their previous products were all considered fitness bands. The new wearable will run Android Wear and boast many fitness-centric features. Among them are blood oxygen monitoring and the ability to work without a phone. The device will retail for $299 and is expected to arrive in October.
