Quadrantid Meteor Shower Begins

Quadrantid Meteor Shower Begins

As regular as the Gregorian calendar itself, each new year brings us the Quadrantid meteor shower. The celestial event has happened between December 28th and January 12 since it was discovered in the 1820s. The shower peaks around the 3rd with a density of about 200 meteors per hour. You should be able to see it off and on over the next 2 weeks.
