CDs & Vinyl Are Outselling Digital Music Again

The RIAA just released sales statistics for 2017. They show revenue from digital downloads decreased $1.3 billion, or 25% decline from 2016 . Meanwhile, revenue from physical products, records and CDs, came in at $1.5 billion. It is interesting to note that vinyl had the largest jump, coming in 10% higher than the previous year. The last time physical media surpassed digital was 2011. Apparently records are cool again.
