Microsoft Fixes Notepad In Latest Win10 Build!

For decades now, Windows has shipped with a simple text editor known as notepad.exe. While it works great for the average person, it has never played well with other operating systems. Open a file from a Linux, Mac, or other Unix-based system and chances are you’ll see some weird characters, particularly at the end of lines. Windows power users have long been forced to download a “real” text editor to work in a cross-platform world. However, Microsoft has finally fixed that bug. The latest Windows build makes updates to Notepad which supports multiple end of line characters. Hey, it only took 33 years.
