Get A Great View Of Mars Tomorrow Morning!

Over the past week or two, skywatchers have been using their telescopes to take a gander at the red planet. The Earth and Mars have been on orbit paths that are drawing the two planets to their closest point. This happens from time to time. However, this Friday Mars will reach it’s closest point while its in opposition. This means Earth will be between Mars and the Sun causing the best viewing of the planet. This event only happens about once every 15 years. So if you’re a stargazer, grab your telescope and be outside Friday morning around 4 AM EST. It’s a view you might not see again for quite some time.
