Windows Core Is All About Devices

Windows is a popular operating system. In fact, its the world’s most popular operating system. However, the OS does not always work great on lightweight devices. It is primarily designed for a PC or tablet experience. For months now, rumors have circulated about Windows Core, a new OS from Microsoft. Most analysts suspected the new OS would be designed for non-PC devices, but Microsoft was reluctant to confirm any details. However, a recent post on LinkedIn may have let the cat out of the bag. Microsoft had a open position for a Software Engineering Manager and they specifically mention WCOS (Windows Core OS) and connected devices. Could this be Microsoft’s new IoT platform?
