Microsoft Lengthens Support Term For Win10 Updates

Back in 2017, Microsoft committed to releasing 2 updates to Windows 10 each year. A lot of consumers like this model, but IT departments everywhere are having trouble keeping up with the pace. Microsoft agreed to support each update for 18 months, but even that cadence is difficult for a lot of large enterprises. As a result, Microsoft has increased the support duration to 30 months, but only on the Enterprise and Education versions of Windows 10. The Home and Professional versions will still have a 18 month support period.
