Windows 10 Warns Users About Installing Chrome/Firefox

Microsoft has been aggressively pushing Windows 10 for a few years now. They’ve also been trying to move users to their App Store opposed to direct downloads. However, alternate browsers like Chrome and Firefox have relied on direct downloads for various reasons. Now, Microsoft has changed the default behavior so Windows 10 users will see the warning above when attempting to install Chrome or Firefox. Needless to say, users can bypass it, but many power users have been appalled by this behavior. C’mon Microsoft!
