Alexa-powered Smartglasses Arrive

A Canadian startup called North, formerly Thalmic Labs, just unveiled Focals and Loop. Think of Google Glass… without the dorkiness. These new smartglasses (Focals) are powered by Alexa and the package includes a ring (Loop) with a button that allows the user to interact. Instead of the prism used by Google’s product, Focals has a small projector embedded in one of the bows. These devices are available for pre-order today via North’s website. The package, including Focals, Loop, and a carrying case, will set you back $999.
