Skype Adds Background Blurring Feature

Skype Adds Background Blurring Feature

Microsoft just announced a new feature for Skype which allows users to blur the background during video chats. The functionality uses AI to detect faces, hair, bodies, etc, and blurs the rest of the frame to keep attention on the person’s face instead of the background. We’ve all heard horror stories of folks who’ve done job interviews with some embarrassing photo or dirty laundry in the frame behind them. Well, this feature aims to put those days behind us. It is available in the latest Skype build.
