Black holes have long baffled and intrigued scientists. They are perhaps the strangest things in our universe. However, the scientific community is celebrating as the first ever photo of one has been published, shown above. This black hole is about 55 Million light years away from Earth and approximately 23,000,000,000 miles in diameter. The Event Horizon telescope, an array of 10 radio telescopes spread across the globe, helped researchers capture this groundbreaking image.
