The Lyrid meteor shower has arrived once again. This annual event typically occurs in mid to late April and can be viewed with the naked eye. The shower is expected to peak on April 23rd at a rate of 10-20 meteors per hour. It is not nearly as dense as the Peresids (which happens in January), but a great celestial event nonetheless.
