WWDC ‘19 Keynote Summary

Apple’s WWDC keynote occurred this morning and most of the rumors turned out to be true. Apple showed off the latest version of iOS 13, watchOS 5, and macOS Catalina during the event and even revealed a 4th operating system, iPadOS. As you’d probably guess, the latter is designed specifically for iPads.

During the keynote, they also unveiled a couple new pieces of hardware: a redesigned Mac Pro and the all-new 32″ 6K Pro Display XDR. The new desktop is a beast! It boasts up to 28 processing cores, running at up to 4.4 GHz, and up to 2 TB of RAM. Alas, the Mac start at $5999 and the display at $4999, so most of us won’t be able to afford them. In any case, they hit stores this fall.
