The NSA Warns… “Patch Windows Now”

A recent Windows vulnerability has been getting a lot of attention on the Internet the past couple weeks. Researchers are calling it Bluekeep and saying it is similar to the WannaCry ransomware outbreak of 2017. The latter exploit was estimated to cause millions of dollars in damages and infect over 300,000 computers in just 4 days. Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and Windows 7 are all vulnerable to Bluekeep. Windows 10 is not vulnerable. Microsoft has already issued patches for these operating systems but the NSA is warning users to patch immediately. This is serious.
