Jupiter Will Be Visible With Binoculars This Weekend

If you’ve noticed a bright star in the night sky recently, it’s probably not a star at all. It’s probably Jupiter. The gas giant is very close, in space terms, to Earth right now. So close in fact, that you’ll be able to see it with binoculars. The planet will be very large in the night sky this weekend hitting its closest point on Monday. Astronomers say you may even be able to spot Jupiter’s moons. For the entire month of June, it should be visible in the night sky.
