Microsoft Gets Nostalgic With Windows 1.11 App

With the popularity of Stranger Things season 3, Microsoft is taking the opportunity to get nostalgic. Similar to the Windows 95 app we saw earlier this year, Microsoft has just released a Windows 1.11 app. The operating system was originally released in 1985, the same year season 3 takes place. The 1.11 emulator not only allows you to run vintage applications like Paint, Write, and Command, it also includes Easter eggs about the show.

Microsoft even included some glitches from The Upside Down. Or are they just glitches from the original code? icon wink Microsoft Gets Nostalgic With Windows 1.11 App Additionally, Microsoft is making a reference to the Camp Know Where cap Dustin Henderson, former GOTW, wears during this season. Apparently, this will be a promotion in Microsoft stores. Keep your eyes open for that.
