Microsoft Warns Users Of Serious Windows Malware

There is a piece of malware circulating the Internet, dubbed Astaroth, that has been causing problems since 2017. Microsoft officially acknowledged it this week. The Trojan horse is particularly dangerous because is “hides in plain sight.” They have advised Windows user to “be extra careful” while using the Internet and added that the company’s Defender anti-virus software will identify the attack. Coincidentally, Astaroth is the name of the Great Duke of Hell in demonology.
