Microsoft Wants ElectionGuard In Place Before 2020

Last year, we reported on the idea of election software going open source. Earlier this year, we heard that Microsoft is making huge strides in this area. Now, the Redmond-based company has announced plans to have their ElectionGuard software in place before the 2020 election. The tech giant claims it has tracked 781 cyberattacks so far this election cycle. The majority of the attacks come from foreign adversaries including Russia and China.
