Hopefully you had the chance to catch a glimpse of a rare celestial event last night or this morning. Both the Delta Aquarid meteor shower and the Alpha Capricornid meteor shower were visible at the same time. The East coast was supposed to have the best view but the event was visible for the majority of the US. At peak viewing, stargazers were able to see 20 to 25 meteors per hour.
