iPhone Sales Are Down 12%

Apple’s quarterly results showed strong overall profit, and record revenue from services, but the individual sales statistics are showing some interesting trends. Notably, iPhone sales accounted for $25.99 Billion of Apple’s revenue last quarter. Wall Street had predicted this number would be $26.31 Billion. When compared to Q2 of 2018, this is a 12% decrease in iPhone revenue.

Smartphone manufacturers need to realize people don’t want to pay these prices for a phone and then buy another one 2 years later.
