Intel & Lenovo Collaborate On New HPC Platform

Intel and Lenovo recently announced they’re collaborating on a new HPC (high performance computing) platform. The focus of this effort is to enable AI (artificial intelligence) applications and systems. Reportedly, they plan to marry Intel’s processor technology with Lenovo’s liquid cooling technology to create a new breed of supercomputer. Their primary markets are major universities and scientific research centers.
