Apple Officially Kills iTunes

Apple just rolled out MacOS Catalina, their latest and greatest desktop operating system. Many users are noticing a familiar and beloved application has mysteriously disappeared. The latest Apple OS does away with iTunes in favor of 3 apps: Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Podcasts.

This is a bit shocking to some users as iTunes debuted on the Mac back in 2001 and has been a staple ever since. It was undoubtedly one of the most iconic apps of the digital music age. It was even said to be “Apple’s Trojan horse” when the software was ported to Windows in 2003. So long iTunes, you are gone but not forgotten.
