Boeing Space Taxi To Fly To ISS In December

Boeing is set to fly the CTS-100 Starliner, dubbed the space taxi, to the International Space Station (ISS) on December 17. The unmanned capsule will lift off aboard an Atlas V rocket and dock with the space station a few days later. It will stay connected for several days before returning to Earth and landing in the New Mexico desert. The landing system deploys a series of parachutes to slow the spacecraft before it hits the ground. If the test is successful, a crewed mission will likely be coming in 2021. The crew, shown above, is raring to go.
