Cloud-based Software Stocks Plummet

A Morgan Stanley analyst has suggested cloud-based software stocks are headed for a decline. The news comes after Workday’s shares saw a 13% decrease. The analyst specifically called out Slack, Zscaler, Zoom, and other small companies as bad purchases while saying large software firms like Microsoft, Adobe, and Palo Alto Networks are safe investments. In the wake of this Slack, ServiceNow, and others experienced a sharp drop in stock prices yesterday.
