The Motorola Razr flip phone is back! However, it now runs Android and sports a 6.2” OLED screen. If you’re feeling like this is a bit deja vu, you’re not wrong. The company attempted to revive the moniker with the Droid RAZR (all caps) in 2011. Alas, the device was not foldable and didn’t sell well.
The new Razr’s display is completely foldable so there is no seam. It simply bends to easily fit into your pocket. It certainly brings back the spirit of the flip phone. The early reviews have been positive but the price tag is pretty steep. Motorola expects the handset to retail for $1500 when it arrives in January. Ouch!
