Space Taxi Fails To Dock With ISS But Returns Safely

Over the weekend, NASA and Boeing did their long awaited test of the Starliner Crew Capsule, better known as the Space Taxi. Unfortunately, the test did not go as planned and the spacecraft failed to dock with the International Space Station (ISS). The launch went as planned but the rocket burned too much fuel during the early stages which caused an off-nominal insertion for the capsule. NASA aborted the mission but Starliner returned safely to Earth, so it was partially successful. They’ll try again in 2020.
