The Quadrantids Usher In The New Year

As the year changes, geeks can count on two things… 1) CES is about to start [more on this later today] and 2) The Quadrantid meteor shower is nearing peak. The annual stargazing event starts in late December every year and typically peaks shortly after the New Year. This year is no exception. The shower began on December 28th and is expected to peak tomorrow night. Meteors should be visible up until January 12th. Grab your telescope or binoculars and check it out.
