Recent Apple AR/VR Patents Hint At Things To Come

A couple of recently filed patents from Apple may be a hint of things to come. The company has filed two new patents that depict user interaction with augmented reality/virtual retality (AR/VR) technology via finger movements and facial expressions. The first patent is titled Computer Systems with Fingertip Devices and the second is named Adjustable Electronic Device System With Facial Mapping. The former, shown above, details a way to use force-feedback gloves to interact with virtual objects, while the latter focuses on a new type of headset designed to fit closer to a user’s face shape. Presumably these both have applications in personalizing future AR or VR tech.
