GDC 2020 Rescheduled For August

Game Developers Conference (GDC) was originally scheduled to take place this week in San Francisco. In February, several large firms backed out over coronavirus fears. Eventually, the conference was cancelled amid social distancing efforts that impacted several trade shows. Now, the organizers of GDC announced the conference will take place August 4-6, 2020. They are renaming it GDC Summer and developing a shortened schedule of events.
