Coronavirus Fears Halt Tokyo Game Show

We saw a slew of conferences and trade shows cancel earlier this year in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The majority of them were scheduled in the spring and early summer. Today we add another conference to the growing list of cancellations. The upcoming Tokyo game show just cancelled their 2020 conference. Here’s the thing… it wasn’t scheduled to take place until late-September. This is the first time its been cancelled since 1996. The show’s promoters said they will have online content this year, similar to BUILD and WWDC. However, users will undoubtedly miss out on the trade show experience with an online format.
