You Can Now Sign Up To Test The SpaceX Internet

Think back to 2016. SpaceX announced plans to launch thousands of satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO) to create a communication web capable of delivering Internet service to anywhere on the planet. The project, called Starlink, has continued over the past few years and SpaceX has deployed about 500 satellites into LEO. Though far from completed, it appears the company is ready to beta test it. Folks can sign up via the Starlink website using their email address and zip code. The company will select a team of beta testers from the applicants. They will be able to start testing this summer. The Starlink service is expected to be fully operational until mid-2021.
