Users of Microsoft Teams, Outlook Online, OneDrive, Office 365, and other Microsoft cloud-based services may have noticed an outage yesterday afternoon into the evening. The outage started around 5 PM EDT and continued until 10 PM EDT or so. It affect all of Microsoft’s cloud platform. During the pandemic, many companies have turned to these service to keep their employees connected and able to work remotely. Because of this, the outage caused a significant loss of productivity across the country. Microsoft claims the outage is not a result of malicious activity.
