Nintendo To Put Switch Consoles In Children’s Hospitals

Nintendo is partnering with Starlight Children’s Foundation (a nonprofit organization that supports ill children) to bring Switch consoles to the hospital rooms of sick kids. The project, called Starlight Gaming, will roll out thousands of gaming stations to healthcare systems across the country.

These rolling stations, seen above, include a Nintendo Switch console, a flatscreen monitor, game controllers, and come loaded with 25 of Nintendo’s most popular games. According to research done by the foundation, video games has a positive effect on sick children’s morale and may even aid in their recovery.
