Late last May, amongst the craziness of coronavirus lockdowns all over the world, SpaceX made history. Carrying two passengers, their Dragon crew capsule departed Earth on May 30th and docked with the International Space Station (ISS) the next day. The spacecraft and two astronauts returned to Earth in August completing the company’s first manned mission and the first of its type.
Now SpaceX is ready to do it again. The company has plans to launch a second manned mission on April 20th of this year. This launch will carry 4 crew members (2 from the US, 1 from Europe, and 1 from Japan) to ISS and later return 4 astronauts to Earth. This is an exciting time for fans of space travel.
