Spotify To Add 85 Countries & 36 Languages This Year

Spottily has been a popular streaming music platform since 2008. It initially launched in Sweden only, then expanded to the UK in 2009. The app came to the US in 2012 and has added a few more markets since. Now they’re planning a global rollout. The company has plans to add 85 new countries in 2021. The list includes: Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Samoa, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Belize, and many more. The expansion will require Spotify to support 36 new languages.
