5G data networks are rolled out across the US and the carriers are planning their next moves. All 3 major US carriers – Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T – scheduled investor events that will happen this week. Verizon’s event will take place Wednesday at 6 PM EST. T-Mobile will follow that on Thursday at 2 PM EST, and AT&T will round out the week with a Friday morning event. The latter will take place at 10 AM EST. All 3 will be online events.
Undoubtedly, the carriers will lay out their plans for adoption of 5G and how this affects subscribers. They’ll probably also showcase future technologies that can utilize the 5G spectrum for various Internet-connected applications ranging from smartcars to smartglasses.
