Windows 7 Becomes Most Popular OS In USA

Microsoft has been touting the adoption rates of Windows 7 for almost a year now. However, most studies have shown that Windows XP was still the most popular operating system (based on the current installed base). Recent statistics from StatCounter show that during the first week of April, 32.2% of the US market share is now claimed Windows 7. Meanwhile, Windows XP has slipped to 30.7%. It’s a small margin, but still it shows Windows 7 is catching on. For the first time since it’s release in late 2009, Windows 7 has become a more popular OS than Windows XP. More importantly… it almost makes up for Vista. icon wink Windows 7 Becomes Most Popular OS In USA
