Microsoft Extends Support Dates Due To Coronavirus

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Microsoft has made the decision to extend support dates for several of its products. Microsoft was planning to end support of Windows 10, version 1709, on 4/14/20, but this has now been extended to 10/13/20. Windows 10, version 1809, was slated to end support on 5/12/20, but Microsoft has pushed that date to 11/10/20. These support extensions apply to more than just desktops. Windows Server, Configuration Manager, SharePoint Server 2010, and Project Server 2010 are also receiving support extensions. However, Microsoft is not planning to push the end of support dates for Office 2010, Project 2010, Office 2016 for Mac, and Office 2013. Make sure you plan accordingly.
