New Ads Attempt To Show What Facebook Collects

In this age of constant data privacy issues, messaging app Signal did something interesting. The company used Instagram ads to show users how much data Facebook collects about them. Some sample ads are shown above. As you’d probably expect, Facebook provides the ability to sell these ads, but they didn’t approve of Signal’s ads. Hmmm… so it appears they are willing to sell your privacy, but they don’t want someone to tell you that.
